Narrow necks and curved bellies are exciting and challenging elements of form. This wheel throwing workshop will give you the specific skills to create bottle and vase shapes with elegant curves and dynamic apertures. The weekend will include how to :
learn controlled collaring to create narrow necks
add a belly and shoulder into a form and refine with a flexible rib
trim a narrow neck form on a chuck
Basic wheel throwing skills required (ability to centre and make a small cylinder or bowl)
Includes all equipment, clay, glaze and firing.
Workshops are non-refundable. Your place will be secured once full payment is received. If you change your mind after you have paid, you may transfer your booking to a friend for the same session.
